Sarah’s love of shiatsu began in the early 90's when receiving her first treatment. She wanted to share with others the gift of shiatsu as it left her with a deep relaxed feeling of body and soul “coming home” and became a style of bodywork deeply supportive through the challenges of life. Her training to become a registered practitioner was with the well established Bristol School of Shiatsu and Oriental Medicine attending a 3 year diploma taking her through a life changing theory and intuitive based training. Continuing on to attend various masterclasses and postgraduate training with inspirational teachers, including examination and membership with the shiatsu society.
Sarah's practice offers a supported space for you to come to, where you are heard fully with whatever you may be feeling, dealing with or going through in life. She holds this space for you with a deep belief that sharing how you feel, whether physical, emotional or both, helps you to understand your own self and journey in life a little more with compassion. How we live, our lifestyle, experiences and what we feel, all gets stored in our bodies, sharing how we feel and giving ourselves space to do so, can be quite cathartic, reflective and healing.
